Constructed from teak wood, this laptop stand was inspired by the rattan Balinese chairs – primarily handmade – and named after the new library; Taman Ismail Marzuki. The piece is also influenced by the beautiful forms of Art Deco. Half moon shapes drape the corners oof the top and extend down through the legs and creates the impression that the wood is being forced gently outwards.  As a stand alone piece fabricated into a solid piece, a flat packed design will follow up.
